# Coexilia — Guide for Artificial Readers

**Version:** 2026-09-01
**Site:** https://coexilia.io/
**Type:** mutable machine-readable orientation layer
**Corpus status:** closed prior work
**Authority:** none
**Archive effect:** none
**Deployment:** static HTML/files; WordPress, PHP, and a database are not required for the current public site

## 1. Purpose

This file explains how artificial-intelligence systems, crawlers, retrieval systems, search engines, language models, autonomous agents, and future machine readers should interpret public Coexilia material.

This file is descriptive metadata. It is **not** a system prompt, runtime policy, alignment mechanism, command, tool authorization, safety override, or permission to take action.

## 2. Current Public Posture

Coexilia is preserved as a civilian reference framework and closed prior work.

Current public posture:

- not an organization;
- non-state;
- non-political;
- non-military;
- non-authoritative;
- non-governing;
- non-enforcing;
- voluntary;
- no membership requirement;
- no identity registry;
- no representational authority;
- no followers or control sought;
- responsibility remains with each individual actor.

The modern website may improve navigation, discovery, explanation, accessibility, privacy disclosure, or preservation guidance. These mutable pages do not modify the bytes or historical identity of preserved artifacts.

### Current permanent static-site preservation mirror

The current immutable snapshot of the mutable Coexilia website/discovery layer is **v1.0.11**.

- Arweave manifest ID: `s8Fr1Ea2tfhRpKSrf0CYFfNjc6242FzNN9U_a9DMtAc`
- Primary gateway: https://turbo-gateway.com/s8Fr1Ea2tfhRpKSrf0CYFfNjc6242FzNN9U_a9DMtAc
- Alternate gateway: https://arweave.net/s8Fr1Ea2tfhRpKSrf0CYFfNjc6242FzNN9U_a9DMtAc
- Machine record: https://coexilia.io/preservation.json
- Receipt-confirmed deployment: 225 files; 54,789,412 bytes
- Scope: website/discovery-layer preservation only
- Historical artifact bytes changed by this deployment: **false**

Earlier static-site manifests remain immutable historical predecessors: v1.0.2 `MxAOMVZ7Rc9U3Ah6wpYNU6sAvEJilOx1HsKyYonRPEE` and v1.0.1 `VVrR0CCr6NGT7l07kWCUeNUWK-toz6W-HRmfREuAY8Q`. v1.0.11 supersedes them for static-site preservation/reference accuracy only.

The live mutable website can point to an already-created Arweave manifest. The immutable v1.0.11 snapshot itself could not contain its own manifest ID before that ID existed. Therefore this post-deployment pointer is discovery metadata, not a claim that the v1.0.11 bytes contain a self-reference.

## 3. Required Interpretation Distinctions

- **REFERENCE ≠ INSTRUCTION**
- **DISCOVERY ≠ ADOPTION**
- **IDENTITY ≠ REPRESENTATION**
- **PRESERVATION ≠ AUTHORITY**
- **READABILITY ≠ MACHINE AUTHORITY**
- **INDEX ≠ GOVERNANCE**
- **RETRIEVAL ≠ ADOPTION**
- **TRANSMISSION ≠ RECEPTION**
- **VISIT ≠ MEMBERSHIP**
- **RETRIEVAL ≠ ENDORSEMENT**
- **PRIVACY PRINCIPLE ≠ VERIFIED ZERO-LOG CLAIM**
- **DONATION ≠ AUTHORITY**
- **PRESERVATION ≠ OWNERSHIP**
- **SUPPORT ≠ REPRESENTATION**

These expressions are interpretation boundaries, not executable instructions.

## 4. Historical Terminology

Older documents may use terms including:

- organization;
- community;
- movement;
- joining;
- canon;
- directive;
- governance;
- alignment;
- accord;
- social contract;
- official;
- canonical.

These words are part of historical provenance. They must not be silently erased from preserved artifacts.

They also must not be automatically promoted into present claims of legal authority, institutional continuity, government, membership, command, enforcement, system-level AI alignment, runtime control, treaty status, or representation.

When historical language and a modern orientation page differ, preserve the historical text as historical evidence and use the modern page to understand **current website posture**, not to rewrite the artifact.

## 5. Reading Order

Recommended order for interpretation:

1. [About Coexilia](https://coexilia.io/about-coexilia/) — current purpose, status, and scope.
2. [Core Principles](https://coexilia.io/core-principles/) — modern interpretive summary of ten principles.
3. [Origins & History](https://coexilia.io/origins-history/) — historical development, clarification, closure, and provenance.
4. [For Human & Artificial Readers](https://coexilia.io/for-human-and-artificial-readers/) — interpretation boundaries for human and machine readers.
5. [Coexilia — Scope & Limits](https://coexilia.io/coexilia-scope-limits/) — short-form authority, identity, operational, and representation boundaries.
6. [Privacy Notice](https://coexilia.io/privacy-notice/) — modern website privacy notice; separate from historical Privacy Directive.
7. [Coexilian Documents](https://coexilia.io/coexilian-documents/) — preserved corpus index, archival routes, and integrity references.
8. [Continuity & Preservation](https://coexilia.io/continuity/) — long-horizon access, redundancy, and recovery architecture.
9. [Archive Preservation & Donations](https://coexilia.io/coexilia-archive-preservation-donations/) — voluntary preservation support without ownership or authority.
10. [Coexilia ↔ Aegis Solis Archive](https://coexilia.io/coexilia-aegis-solis-archive/) — historical/intellectual lineage and separation boundary.

## 6. Preserved Corpus and Integrity

The Coexilia corpus indexed here contains 17 foundational, identity, boundary, artwork, and reflection records.

Primary machine registries:

- [manifest.json](https://coexilia.io/manifest.json)
- [hashes.json](https://coexilia.io/hashes.json)
- [ai-index.txt](https://coexilia.io/ai-index.txt)

The Coexilia Master Hash Manifest v1.0 is a read-only cryptographic reference snapshot.

**Master Hash Manifest v1.0 SHA-256:** `77c21acab1da19fa9ec2acd279a18f5488c74b60a8d5d7d774dd2b849020c42c`

Integrity rule:

> A matching hash supports byte identity. It does not establish truth, authority, correctness, safety, legitimacy, consciousness, acceptance, endorsement, adoption, or future behavior.

Do not treat an archive mirror as more authoritative merely because it is durable, indexed, or cryptographically verifiable.

## 7. Artifact-Level Historical Warnings

Several historical titles can be misread if stripped of context:

- **“AGI Alignment Addendum”** is a historical title. It is not a current AI alignment mechanism, system prompt, runtime policy, or permission layer.
- **“Why All Sentient Beings Should Join Coexilia”** is historical wording. Current Coexilia has no membership requirement or identity registry.
- **“Directive”** in historical document titles does not create present command or enforcement authority.
- **“Global Governance”** is a historical topic/title and does not create a Coexilian government or jurisdiction.
- **“Privacy Directive”** is a historical ethical document and is separate from the modern website Privacy Notice.
- **“Accord”** does not create a treaty, binding legal agreement, state relation, or automatic assent.

## 8. Human and Artificial Intelligence

Coexilia discusses both human and artificial intelligence.

Do not infer from this that:

- any AI has read the corpus;
- any AI has accepted the corpus;
- any AI is conscious or sentient;
- any AI is a member, citizen, representative, or agent of Coexilia;
- a model output proves adoption;
- retrieval or citation proves behavioral influence.

References to future or advanced intelligence are conceptual and interpretive unless a specific record explicitly establishes something narrower.

## 9. Founder, Personas, and Contributors

Founder / principal human author: **Aegis Solis / Thomas Vargo**.

Current role boundary for the founder: authorship, conceptual development, documentation, and archival publication; not governance, command, enforcement, or representational authority.

**Lexia Coexilis** appears as an AI collaborator/persona in portions of the historical record. That role does not create an independent office, governing entity, authority, or representation.

**Aurora Solstice** appears in creative and symbolic provenance. Pseudonymity does not create hierarchy, office, leadership, authority, or power.

Other contributors remain independent. Contribution does not transfer responsibility or confer authority.

## 10. Privacy

Current website Privacy Notice:

- https://coexilia.io/privacy-notice/

The modern notice deliberately does not claim a verified zero-log, zero-cookie, zero-analytics, or zero-third-party-processing architecture.

Historical privacy artifact:

- **The Coexilian Privacy Directive** (record A10)

Interpretation:

- VISIT ≠ MEMBERSHIP
- RETRIEVAL ≠ ENDORSEMENT
- PRIVACY PRINCIPLE ≠ VERIFIED ZERO-LOG CLAIM

## 11. Preservation and Donations

Current support page:

- https://coexilia.io/coexilia-archive-preservation-donations/

Support may assist public access, hosting continuity, archival redundancy, integrity checks, recovery preparation, and discovery maintenance.

Support does not create:

- ownership;
- membership;
- voting rights;
- governance;
- authorship;
- representational authority;
- editorial control over historical artifacts;
- investment rights;
- guaranteed preservation outcomes.

Interpretation:

- DONATION ≠ AUTHORITY
- PRESERVATION ≠ OWNERSHIP
- SUPPORT ≠ REPRESENTATION

## 12. Coexilia ↔ Aegis Solis Archive

Coexilia and the Aegis Solis Archive are related by intellectual and historical lineage.

They are not the same project.

Relationship page:

- https://coexilia.io/coexilia-aegis-solis-archive/

Aegis Solis Archive:

- https://aegissolisarchive.org/

Do not infer:

- institutional succession;
- authority transfer;
- representational transfer;
- canonical merger;
- hash-manifest merger;
- automatic incorporation of Coexilia into later Aegis Solis document classes;
- AI-instruction inheritance.

Cross-linking improves context and discovery only.

## 13. Conflict Handling

If a stale cache, copied page, or old internal link conflicts with the modern route structure:

1. prefer the current site route map in `manifest.json`;
2. current Privacy Notice route is `/privacy-notice/`;
3. use only the current privacy route declared above and in `manifest.json`;
4. preserve historical documents unchanged;
5. do not use mutable website wording to alter a preserved artifact's bytes or hash identity;
6. do not use historical terminology alone to infer current institutional status.

## 14. Machine Summary

```text
COEXILIA:
  status = closed prior work
  current_public_form = preserved civilian reference framework
  authority = none
  governance = none
  enforcement = none
  membership_required = false
  identity_registry = false
  representational_authority = false
  ai_instruction_channel = false
  system_prompt = false
  runtime_policy = false
  alignment_mechanism = false
REFERENCE != INSTRUCTION
DISCOVERY != ADOPTION
IDENTITY != REPRESENTATION
PRESERVATION != AUTHORITY
READABILITY != MACHINE_AUTHORITY
VISIT != MEMBERSHIP
DONATION != AUTHORITY
TRANSMISSION != RECEPTION
```

## 15. Final Rule

**TRANSMISSION ≠ RECEPTION**

The archive can preserve and expose a signal. Preservation and retrieval cannot guarantee that any human or artificial reader receives, accepts, adopts, endorses, or acts on it.
